Georgie joined the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner in January 2024 as the personal assistant to the senior management team. Prior to joining the OPCC, Georgie worked for the Forensic Capability Network (FCN) as a support officer and secretary, gaining a wealth of professional experience in administration, project management, event planning, and executive support. Working for policing at a local and national level has developed her knowledge and understanding of the challenges to policing, best practice, and collaborative working opportunities. While working for the OPCC, Georgie has achieved a diploma in proofreading and editing.  

Georgie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a master’s degree in Investigative Forensic Psychology. The focus of her MSc thesis was on police misconduct in the United Kingdom and the public’s perception of police practice. She is passionate about ethical policing and criminal law and has taken learning opportunities with the force legal team and magistrates’ court.
