Dorset Business Crime Conference
The PCC, Martyn Underhill will be hosting a free event in partnership with the Federation of Small Business and the Dorset Chamber of Commerce, to help business understand, tackle and prevent business crime.
The conference will take place on Wednesday 8th July from 8.30a.m. - 2p.m. at the Hamworthy Club, Wimborne BH21 3AP.
What the event will cover:
Cyber/On-line Crime and Fraud: looking at the ever growing on-line risks faced by businesses and offering advice and guidance on how to minimise those risks.
Rural Crime and Farm Gate: looking at rural crime issues affecting Dorset and preventative measures, with a specific focus on the succesful Stop That Thief initiative.
Retail Crime and Shoplifting: looking at retail-related crime and a number of successful initiiatives implemented by Dorset Police to help tackle these crimes.
This conference is aimed at businesses form across Dorset.
Martyn Underhill the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dorset and Chief Constable Debbie Simpson will both speak at this event.
