Problem Solving Forum on County Lines
Police and Crime Commissioner Martyn Underhill will be hosting a Problem Solving Forum with partners on County Lines on 14 November.
The Local Safeguarding Children Boards (LSCBs), Community Safety Partnerships (CSPs), Adult Safeguarding Boards (ASBs) across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset have identified criminal exploitation and County Lines activity as a priority in Dorset and established an Exploitation Conference on Wednesday 14 November 2018.
The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) shares this priority and has offered to host a multi-agency Problem Solving Forum on County Lines in the afternoon. This will consist of some ‘snapshot’ presentations to set the scene for Dorset, along with some facilitated action planning workshops. These will sit alongside workshops for practitioners by presenters at the morning event from St Giles and Salford University, who have been working with exploited victims.
The presenters are:
• Dorset Police – Supt Caroline Naughton
• Aster Housing Association – Claire Dzuda
• National County Lines Co-ordination Centre – DI Brittany Clarke
• St Giles Trust – a survivor of county lines exploitation
