The Commissioner is always keen to hear about personal experiences

If you wish to make the Commissioner aware of an issue, please contact him using the email address or use the link on our contact page.

If your contact is a general comment, telling the Commissioner about something you are unhappy with or an issue you think the Commissioner ought to be aware of, we will aim to respond within ten working days. If your query is one that requires us to do some research or investigation then you will receive an initial acknowledgement with a full response within twenty working days.

The Police and Crime Commissioner is not the appropriate authority for either handling and investigating individual complaints, or receiving appeals against the outcomes of complaints reached by Dorset Police.  

Should such a matter be received by this office, it will be acknowledged and passed to the Professional Standards Department where it will be registered and dealt with in accordance with Force procedures.  Please consider the full advice contained within our Complaints Policy which can be accessed by clicking here
