Safer Dorset Fund - Priority Commissioning Scheme

The Safer Dorset Fund Priority Commissioning Scheme has been established by the Police and Crime Commissioner to commission projects in areas of need where gaps in service provision have been identified, which meet the 2017-2021 Police & Crime Plan priorities.

Safer Dorset Fund - Priority Commissioning Scheme

The Police and Crime Commissioner’s Policy and Commissioning Teams work together with partner agencies to identify potential gaps in service provision, work to find sustainable solutions and commission appropriate organisations or partners to provide services in the identified areas.

We work with Partner Agencies such as;

  • NHS England
  • Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group
  • Bournemouth Borough Council
  • Borough of Poole Council
  • Dorset County Council
  • Public Health Dorset
  • National Probation Service
  • Community Rehabilitation Companies

Examples of current and historically commissioned services can be found on the Safer Dorset Fund Tab.
