Map of Change
This interactive map shows where new initiatives or projects have been introduced since 2021.
On the map you can see the work that has gone in to ensure that Dorset Police are visible and connected to the communities they serve. The map shows where 72 community contact points have been established in order to provide a facility to report crime and incidents as well as offer prevention and engagement opportunities for the public. This is just one part of the wider public contact work that is shown, which also includes the pilot opening of three police station front desks as well as the Rural Crime Teams engagement van pop ups.
The map also shows the PCC's public engagements and the annual engagement events attended by the office, as well as the projects funded through both Operation Relentless and Fix the Future Community Funds. The government funded Safer Streets fund initiatives are also detailed on the map.
