Mudeford Wood Community Trust

£2,852.65

The project will be raising awareness within the local community to minimise both vandalism and other forms of anti-social behaviour particularly during the hours of darkness.

The Mudeford Wood Community Trust has managed the centre since  April 2013,  governed entirely by volunteers and other volunteers support the day-to-day running of the centre and has been  completing a programme of updating the security for the centre and adjacent areas. This project seeks to upgrade external security and car park lighting to make users and those in the vicinity of the centre such as dog walkers feel safe during the hours of darkness as the centre has been subjected to both vandalism and other forms of anti-social behaviour, particularly at night, which has resulted in local people feeling insecure when arriving, leaving or moving adjacent to the Centre from a poorly lit or unlit area.  .
