Rachel joined the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) in May 2024 as Public Contact Manager. This was after completing 34 years service with Dorset Police. Finally retiring as an officer at the beginning of 2024, having reached the rank of Inspector. 

Rachel is keen to continue to utilise her policing skills and experience to benefit her OPCC colleagues and importantly providing accurate advice and support to the wider community and key stakeholders with whom she engages with regularly within her role of Public Contact Manager. 

Outside of work, Rachel volunteers in her own time as a Police Cadet Leader.
