As part of a major refurbishment programme The Druitt Hall needed to improve its security.

Due to instances of ASB and graffitti, the hall committee wanted to ensure that the new improvements to the hall were protected, and the safety of hall users ensured, particularly after dark.
They applied for a small grant to complete the installation of a CCTV system to the hall,
