Shaftesbury & District Carers - Hope Confidence Boosters

Shaftesbury and District Carers Association are an independent charity working for the benefit of those vulnerable and at risk within our community, such as learning disabled adults, and those living with mental illness

Their aim is to provide a safe haven for those who need it, with an opportunity to learn new skills, the chance to work and become part of a team, and even to progress into paid employment if this is what the individual wishes The PCC grant will be used to run a series of workshop events aimed at teaching participants about personal and  online safety, and important life skills such as self-confidence, assertiveness and tackling bullying.

The project is due to commence in March 2017
