The Howe Croft Community Centre in West Howe was being targeted by ASB and vandalism, leading of a loss of hall users, threatening the future of the venue

Hall bookings were being cancelled as a result of the ASB and vandalism being experienced by hall users , despite the committee trying to engage with local young people and youth workers to prevent this. Recognisng the need for a community resource in this area of Bournemouth, the PCC awarded a small grant to assist with the installation of CCTV equipment at the premises, which will deter future incidents and make hall users and staff feel safer.
