The Chestnut Nursery

The Chestnut Nursery offer rehabilitative volunteering opportunities to people with severe or enduring mental ill health.

The nursery, which is situated on the edge of Poole Park, .had expereinced break ins, which damaged their equipment and stock, thus affecting their income, which is used to support vulnerable members of society, and proved distressing to the  volunteers.

The PCC funding has allowed them to install a safety fence to prevent further break ins , and ensure the future of this worthwhile project.
